Linear indexed – Centrifugal Tubes printing and capping

The machine is built up from a steel lacquered frame.
The control cabinet is mounted sideways. The HMI consists of an IPC with an integrated display (Windows) onto the cabinet. Production data is collected and can be exported to a MIS system. Hart of the machine is the Grauel LCS, driven by indexing servomotor. The LCS contains 41 Product holders, that open and close over a cam system.  On both sides of the LCS workstations are placed.
The tubes are fed by a bunker elevator, 2 vibratory bowls and a dual lane linear feeder. At the and of the linear track a separation station with mandrill loads the tubes into the product holder. Subsequent the screw caps are fed over a bunker elevator, 2 bowl feeders and a dual lane linear feeder.
A separations station places the caps onto the tubes. With help of a dual lane Grauel screwing unit the cases are screwed via a adjustable torque onto the tubes. Then they are pre-treated with corona, printed with a Grauel 2-colour print head, type RBA-90-100-2F and UV-cured. Finally the tubes are thrown out and transported to a bagging machine. Gross output of the machine is 120 tubes per minute.
